Air Seychelles has its first flight landing from Tel Aviv
Wed, 11 November 2020
As of 16th November, Seychelles International Airport is open for flights from Israel. The Seychelles' Department of Health has moved Israel up to the list of low-risk countries permitted to visit the Seychelles Islands.
Since the new listing, Israeli citizens are required to provide a negative PCR test before departure for Seychelles and approved Health Travel Authorisation (HTA) for entry. They will not be subject to a restriction of movement during their stay.
“Thanks to the geographic isolation of the country, Seychelles is a safe destination for tourists who want to get away from the stress of 2020 and enjoy a relaxing beach holiday. Seychelles has taken enormous steps to keep its citizens and visitors safe during this pandemic, and entry into the country is limited to selected nationalities. We look forward to welcoming our Israeli guests back to our stunning islands.”, commented the CCO of Air Seychelles, Charles Johnson.
