New Government of Seychelles: 14 New Ministers Announced

On November 6, 2025, President Patrick Herminie officially assumed office together with his new cabinet, composed of 14 ministers who took the oath of office during a ceremony at the State House.

Cabinet Composition

The newly appointed ministers and their respective portfolios are as follows:

  • Wallace Cosgrow — Minister for Fisheries, Agriculture and the Blue Economy
  • Barry Faure — Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora
  • Pierre Laporte — Minister for Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment
  • Idith Alexander — Minister for Employment and Human Resource Planning
  • Pamela Charlette — Minister for Social Affairs, Family and Equality
  • Marvin Fanny — Minister for Health
  • David Pierre — Minister for Education and Human Resource Development
  • Marie-May Jérémie — Minister for Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources
  • Veronique Laporte — Minister for Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation
  • James Camille — Minister for Homeland Security and Civil Affairs
  • Geralda Desaubin — Minister for Industry and Entrepreneurship
  • Eveline Rose — Minister for Local Government and Inner Islands

During the ceremony, President Herminie emphasized transparency, public trust, and service to the people as the guiding principles of his administration.
