No More PCR Tests for Vaccinated Visitors to Seychelles

Tue, 15 March 2022

Are you fully vaccinated? Great news for you!

As of March 15, 2022, fully vaccinated tourists from all countries no longer need a pre-travel PCR test to enter the Republic of Seychelles and are exempt from quarantine and routine PCR tests on arrival, the Seychelles Ministry of Health announced.

Fully vaccinated visitors are considered adults who have received the first two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine including a booster dose after six months since completing the primary series. Fully immunization for visitors aged 12 to 18 years, requires the completion of only two vaccine doses.

Exemption from pre-travel COVID-19 testing will also apply to visitors having tested positive to the COVID-19 virus, between 2 to 12 weeks prior to travel, upon provision of proof of infection and recovery.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated visitors will be required to present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test, done in a certified laboratory within 24hrs before departure to Seychelles.

All visitors coming to Seychelles, irrespective of their vaccination status, are required to complete Health Travel Authorisation (https://seychelles.govtas.com/) and provide valid Travel & Health Insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs (quarantine, isolation, treatment).
