Entry and Stay Conditions for Visitors to Seychelles

As of February 15, 2021, interim conditions come into effect for those arriving in the Seychelles, announced by the Ministry of Health.

Conditions for permitted countries:

Visitors are allowed to travel to Seychelles if  they provide a negative PCR test done within 72 hours of departure from the country of origin and complete Health Travel Authorisation.

Upon arrival in the country, tourists who can provide a valid proof of vaccination against COVID-19 are allowed to stay in any certified tourism establishments with no minimum length of stay in the first establishment.

Tourists who have not been vaccinated or cannot prove their proof of vaccination against COVID-19 are subject to a 6-day mandatory quarantine and a second negative PCR test taken on the fifth day of the quarantine period before being allowed to move freely within the country.


Conditions for non-permitted countries:

Visitors are allowed to travel to Seychelles if  they provide a valid proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test done within 72 hours of departure and complete Health Travel Authorisation.

Exceptions are non-vaccinated visitors arriving by private flights and staying on a certified island resort establishment for minimum first 6 nights. They are required to provide a negative PCR test, taken on the fifth day of the quarantine period, before they are free to move to other certified establishments.

All vaccinated tourists have the right to stay in any certified tourism establishments with no minimum length of stay in the first establishment.

Conditions for Seychellois, Residents, GOP-Holders and diplomats:

Seychelles residents are allowed to travel to the country from anywhere in the world without being subject to quarantine, if they provide a valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination, a negative PCR test done within 72 hours of departure and complete Health Travel Authorisation.

Non-vaccinated residents are subject to an 8-day mandatory quarantine. They are required to provide a negative PCR test, taken on the fifth day of the quarantine period before release.
